Security & integrity
Defence and government work demands trust. Here is who we are, how we protect information, and the Canadian requirements we prepare for.
Our people
We are the founders of the group, and we work with a team.
One of the founders built a career in large international industrial companies, including ABB (Switzerland–Sweden), Omron (Japan) and Carlo Gavazzi (Italy). In these companies, regular training on information security, fraud prevention, confidentiality and the protection of intellectual property was part of the job.
The other founder, Lauriane Loiseau, previously worked at Revenu Québec, an organization with strict rules on confidentiality and the protection of personal and tax information.
None of the owners has a criminal record. We are prepared to undergo the security screening that a contract requires.
Our commitments
- Need to know: information about a client or a project is shared only with the people who work on it.
- A non-disclosure agreement is signed before any sensitive exchange.
- No technical data on our drones or on client projects is ever published.
- Client documents and intellectual property remain the property of the client and are used only for the contract.
- Integrity: agreements in writing, accurate records, and zero tolerance for fraud.
- Personal information is handled under Québec Law 25 and PIPEDA.
Canadian and international products and platforms
We use Canadian and international products and platforms, chosen for their security record. For example, the 3J Industry parts store runs on Shopify (a Canadian company) and this website is hosted by Cloudflare (a U.S. company). We are transparent about where data is processed (see our privacy policy), and we will use Canadian options when a contract requires it.
Canadian defence security requirements
These are the programs Canadian defence and government buyers rely on. We follow them closely and will obtain the screenings and certifications each contract requires. Registrations and certifications will be listed on this site only once they are obtained.
- Contract Security Program (Public Services and Procurement Canada): organization security screening (Designated Organization Screening for Protected information, Facility Security Clearance for Classified information) and personnel screening.
- Canadian Program for Cyber Security Certification (CPCSC): Level 1 self-assessment of 13 controls from ITSP.10.171, phased into defence contracts since 2026; Levels 2 and 3 for contracts involving controlled information.
- Controlled Goods Program, for controlled goods and the related technical data.
- Export and Import Permits Act, and U.S. ITAR/EAR rules where U.S.-controlled components are involved.
